A note about Kindred Journeys...

I can say with all sincere honesty that the owners and staff at KJ are the nicest and most down-to-earth people I've ever worked with professionally. Furthermore, I can attest that no one there is involved in any kind of dark or black magic, or "majick," or any other kind of silliness. Everyone there is a true lightworker, with no pretensions or snootiness, as true practitioners of the divine arts should be.

With that being said, it should be obvious I'm a huge fan of Pam and her business (she's got good Saturn) and am honored to be able to do my practice there.

The first Naked Eye Astronomy Retreat of 2008 was a huge success!! We all trudged up the back side of Palomar Mountain to witness the dramatic grouping of Mars, Saturn, Regulus and crescent Luna, as well as a bright Jupiter. OUR NEXT EVENT will be a full moon drumming circle and camping retreat on the 17th, 18th and 19th of July on Palomar. This is a special full moon for Palomar's locale, as the moon rises exactly when the sun sets. We will camp on the west face of Palomar, but the viewing of the rising moon will be at a nearby vista. has decided to expell me from my Board position in what can only be described as a stupid power play by some people who are insanely jealous of my happy, talented, prosperous, popular, free and sexy self. Three people who I had been nothing but kind and helpful to for four years decided to diminish my innumerable contributions of time, energy and money that helped keep the place open and thriving after losing the lease at our previous spot in 2006. Therefore, for the time being, I have decided to end any and all association with the people who now run the house I built. I urge everyone not darken that doorstep again, at least until the small-minded spinsters who have no idea what it takes to hang out one's shingle have packed up and left.

However, a group has already formed to facilitate the mission of building a more proper metaphysical center for Escondido that will serve the whole community, not just three stupid and bitchy old ladies who hate men.

First, April 6 is the day that the Sun rises concurrently with the zenithing of Washington DC's transiting star Wega:

Hello?!? Didn't we just have an election that backed up the years-long dissatisfaction with continuing this silly war for Big Oil and Big Zion? Never mind, as this is all just diversionary time-wasting and Liberal-baiting to mask the re-direction of resources to fighting the other foes of Zion -- Iran, Syria, Venezuela, and Jimmy Carter.

We all know that nothing short of withdrawal and reparations for the Iraqi people is the only moral course of action left, but when the new allegedly peace-loving Speaker Of The House and the rest of Congress are so willing to kiss the ass of AIPAC and Israel (and take their money), we can only expect the Zionist/Corporate/fascist media to play along with the Neocon's psycho war mongering in their Mercury/Neptune fog.

January saw the conjunction of Jupiter with our old friend Antares -- the star linked so closely with war, nukes, the UN, the US, and the Middle East -- and the timing of Bush's latest foray into "fear-speak" (see this fine article from The Nation for the words the Legion of Doom is most addicted to) has not left us disappointed. When Great Leader began his time-wasting remarks, the sky over Washington DC was, alas, uneventful! But, relocate this moment to Tel Aviv, and we see Antares precisely on the horizon/ascendant:

This alone does not 'splain the reason why January 10 was chosen for this "ignore the American People's wishes" speech. It's not about us anyhow. It's about the powerful re-eserting their power for the sake of more power and money, and hidden to most astrologers is this fact: January 10 is the day that the Sun and Earth align with Pluto's nodes which are currently in the 21st degree of Capricorn (heliocentrically). Sun is conjunct Pluto's south node in January.

So, more death (Pluto), more power grabbing (Pluto), and more debt (Pluto) for the American citizenry is being jammed down (Saturn) our collective throats by the Plutocracy (Pluto).

The unusually long press conference (1 hour and 5 minutes) was due to more than just a Mercury/Jupiter conjunction; the American Queen needed to get us all back to being scared of Saddam and the "turrists" (former CIA/Mossad recruits). So, he chose a morning when Moon/Antares would rise over Washington, and set over Baghdad:
